Scripture Reading: Philippians 2:5-8 “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!”

Continuing our journey into humility, today we reflect on Jesus as the ultimate example of servant leadership. In Philippians 2:5-8, we see how He willingly set aside His divine privileges to serve others, ultimately sacrificing Himself for humanity. This powerful demonstration of humility challenges us to embrace a similar attitude in our lives.

Reflection: Think about how Jesus chose to serve. Despite being fully God, He put others before Himself and modelled true humility. How can you mirror this in your own life? Are there moments where you can serve others, even when it’s not easy or convenient? Embracing Christ’s example means adopting a servant mindset—putting the needs of others first and acting with compassion.

Call to Action:

• Serve Others Selflessly: Find ways to help those around you without seeking recognition. Whether at home, work, or in your community, focus on actions that prioritize the needs of others.

• Adopt a Servant Attitude: Approach each interaction with a mindset of service. Ponder how your actions can uplift others and reflect Christ’s humility.

• Reflect on Christ’s Example: Regularly meditate on Philippians 2:5-8 and pray for the strength to embody this mindset in your daily life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for showing us the true meaning of humility and servant leadership. Teach me to put the needs of others before my own and reflect Your love through my actions. May my life be a testament to Your servant heart, and may I honor You with acts of compassion. In Your name, Amen.
